Peaceful faces

Intimate art-pop songs rendered bold and brassy by a 6-8 piece band. I sing and play trumpet (and sometimes keyboards and guitars) and my friends make the songs way, way better. Our third album is out now on Glamour Gowns Records.

PALMEDO PHILIPS

Improvisations and short compositions rendered in a rich sound world. Allison Philips and I both play trumpets with electronics. Our debut single is out October 2025 and an album is in the works.

Explorations in home recording, loops, multi-instrumentalism, deep feeling.

Drinking bird

Melodies and improvisations and experimentations. I play trumpet, Jacob Matheus plays guitar, and Eladio Rojas plays drums. Sometimes we sing and do other things, too. Some music out now, more to come.

JIM UNKNOWN

Improvisations created in collaboration with Ryan Wolfe, recorded live and shaped into melodic songs. I play trumpet with effects and synthesizer; Ryan plays electronics and synths. An album forthcoming.

EARPRINT

A chordless jazz quartet with a heavy compositional emphasis, elements of density and melody. Our first record tied for #1 Debut Album on the 2016 NPR Jazz Critic’s Poll, and our second record was released in 2019 on Endectomorph Records.
